Cutting Edge

Consultations & Trainings

Chaddock is on the cutting edge of treatment for children who have experienced severe abuse, neglect, or other trauma in their early years of development and is nationally respected for the excellent results demonstrated in our Developmental Trauma and Attachment Program (DTAP). Many of the children in this program were adopted by loving families, but the unresolved issues from their early childhood prevent them from forming trusting, nurturing relationships. Chaddock works with the whole family to rebuild relationships and bring about healing for the profound pain and unresolved trauma experienced by these children.

The Knowledge Center at Chaddock allows our clinicians and staff to share our success with others through training events, webinars, consultation services, and presentations at conferences throughout the United States and internationally. We have worked with individual clinicians, and nonprofit, private, and government child and family-serving organizations. With Chaddock’s Developmental Trauma and Attachment Program (DTAP®) model as our foundation, our team focuses on the following subject areas and modalities:

  • Attachment Theory
  • Trauma-Informed Care
  • Sensory Process Research
  • Theraplay®
  • Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI)
  • Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)
