Theraplay® Foundational Level Cohort Group
Presented by Karen Doyle Buckwalter, LCSW, RPT-S, this is a group opportunity for a cohort of four clinicians to become Foundational Theraplay® Practitioners. Members will receive Theraplay supervision and peer support that will allow them to confidently practice Theraplay with families they are seeing.
Karen is a senior Theraplay Trainer and Supervisor, having been teaching and supervising Theraplay since 2000 and certified since 1997. She is also a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor.
Theraplay is a child and family modality of play therapy for building and enhancing attachment, self-esteem, trust in others, and joyful engagement.
Each cohort will meet for eight, two hour supervision sessions, presenting four times and conferring on other case presentations. All meetings are conducted on-line at a frequency and time matching the needs of the cohort group and supervisor.
