Today’s students come to the classroom with a wide range of needs beyond academics.  On average 50% of students have experienced an adverse childhood experience by the age of sixteen. (Kessler et al., 1995; Journal of Traumatic Stress/Copeland et al., 2007) Do you feel ill-equipped to support the social emotional needs of your students?  Are you overwhelmed by the magnitude of need? We’ve been there.

Our trainers have direct experience working with students who have severe social, emotional and behavioral needs.  What makes The Knowledge Center at Chaddock unique is that our trainers continue to work in the school environment, bringing relevant experience into their trainings, webinars, consultations, and conference presentations.

Chaddock’s Developmental Trauma and Attachment Program (DTAP®) model is used as the foundation of our educational services and students’ needs are met through the trauma and attachment lens.
