Josh Carlson - Developmental Trauma & Attachment Institute - Part 2

Karen is the guest on her own podcast as she invites her colleague, The Knowledge Center Executive Director Josh Carlson back to the show for the conclusion of their conversation on the importance of learning and growth in their field, and their upcoming Developmental Trauma & Attachment Institute.

The Developmental Trauma and Attachment Institute is for helpers who seek to be rejuvenated and revitalized in their work with children and families. This type of renewal and confidence is a natural by-product of gaining specialized knowledge, advanced skills, consultation, guidance, mentorship, and most importantly being in a community providing the experience of being seen and understood. Yet, who has time and resources to seek out all of that? No one. That’s why we have designed an experience and a soft place to land where all of these needs will be met in one central place. For more information about the Institute, and to register, visit the Developmental Trauma & Attachment Institute page on this site.

Josh Carlson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Director of The Knowledge Center at Chaddock. He oversees the training and consultation endeavors TKC offers and is one of the lead trainers. Josh’s areas of expertise are training and coaching related to trauma-informed schools and managing secondary trauma through self-care. He offers workshops in both private and public schools and has spoken regionally and nationally on these topics.
