Dorothy Derapelian: CoreAttachment® Therapy - Part 2
Karen welcomes counselor and educator Dorothy Derapelian to the show for the conclusion of their two part conversation about Derapelian's CoreAttachment® Therapy model.
Dorothy Derapelian, M.Ed., LCMHC, is an experienced mental health counselor, educator, and the creator of CoreAttachment Therapy©. She has been in private practice for over 30 years in Meredith, NH where she specializes in play therapy and teach several classes for Granite State College. Derapelian conducts home studies for Child and Family Services for families interested in domestic and international adoptions.
Derapelian is a member of the New Hampshire Attorney General's Mental Health Providers for those impacted by homicide crimes, as well as a Certified Advanced Trainer for the Nurtured Heart Approach®, is listed in Who's Who in 1987, 1989, and 2004, and received the International Peace Prize from the United Cultural Center in 2005. She is the mother of an adoptee, having adopted her daughter Nara in 1995, at age 6 from Russia.
