INTRODUCING...

A New Community Just for You!

Supporting children and families who have experienced great loss and endured extreme trauma is a daunting task. Helpers often fall prey to vicarious trauma and burn-out, and too many give up this specialization or leave the field entirely. As a result, many of the children and families with the most complex needs are paired with the least experienced helpers. At Chaddock, we have the experience and longevity to understand the type of support needed to keep the best and brightest engaged with this work.

The Developmental Trauma and Attachment Institute is for helpers who seek to be rejuvenated and revitalized in their work with children and families. This type of renewal and confidence is a natural by-product of gaining specialized knowledge, advanced skills, consultation, guidance, mentorship, and most importantly being in a community providing the experience of being seen and understood. Yet, who has time and resources to seek out all of that? No one. That’s why we have designed an experience and a soft place to land where all of these needs will be met in one central place.

Enrollment is open for the next session
beginning in January!

Once upon a time, fire led our ancestors into the circle. It made sense to put the fire in the center and to gather around it. A circle defined physical space by creating a rim with a common sense of sustenance lighting up the center.

FEEL WELCOMED & SUPPORTED

"We understand how overwhelming and stressful working with developmental trauma and attachment issues can be. We honor the commitment you have made to this, at times heartbreaking, work. We also know that you can’t walk this path alone without sacrificing aspects of yourself — and it shouldn’t be that way. You are the reason we have created this one-of-a-kind Institute. We want to bring you the same type of incredible support and teamwork we have benefitted from at Chaddock over the years. The kind of support that is better for you, better for those you love, and better for your clients."

What They're Saying

Becoming a part of the Developmental Trauma and Attachment Institute is one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself and company. I expected to find a place for continued education and curated content from one of the most skilled and respected professionals and organizations in my profession. What I found was a leader and team committed to my development as a professional and person, and a community of learning and practice with peers as invested and determined as I am to be the absolute best they can be for those they work with.
